what can i say that hasn't already been said, the welsh manager was one of the rudest people you could ever wish to meet with his smoke filled bad breath, the rooms were dirty, the hotel is like something out of the 70's and the food is bad, breakfast was good-but how hard is it to cook bacon n eggs-you have been warned!! more

As a frequent guest at the Arosfa Hotel WSM I would like to speak most highly of the manager, his wife and all their staff. When I arrive there I am greeted with warmth, sincerity and courtesy. They will go out of their way to make your stay a happy one. the food is first class, the bedrooms are very... more

We had booked through a local tour operator, whereby accomadation details are only provided a few days prior to the trip. After reading the reviews we werent expecting much and even those expectiosn werent met. Our room was a decent size, however, the toilet was broken and appeared to have been broken for some time. On asking the manager to... more

i stayed at the arosfa for 4 days and i had a very comfortable stay. The hotel is clean, there is a good selection of food which is cooked well and many of the staff very friendly and chatty. The hotel is old and a bit dated but worth the money for the quaintness. If you are looking for a... more

I recently stayed at this hotel and on arrival did see several members of staff smoking in the hotel doorway which was not a brilliant first impression. The hotel really could do with some updating but the hospitality and helpfulness towards the guests is what goes a long way towards making for a happy holiday/break etc and in my opinion... more

I stayed at the Arosfa hotel in early june and i was very happy. Although the reviews were a little daunting i can only assume they are unfounded, as my stay was very enjoyable. The staff are friendly, happy and willing to help, the room i stayed in was comfortable and clean and food enjoyable. The location is a short... more

Booked a double room for 2 nights at the arosfa hotel in early may, although the room price was reasonable i was very disappointed. The room was dirty and in poor condition, the staff were reluctant to sort any problems out and i was even met with hostility and arrogance from the receptionists especially the elderly gentleman. The breakfast is... more

Non smokers beware This was the second time to visit this hotel in two months having thoroughly enjoyed our first trip in November 08 and gave glowing praise after our first visit. My wife and i decided to stay at the hotel for the New Year celebrations and booked in several weeks prior. In fact we had looked at better... more

We stayed at the Arosfa for two nights with friends. This was a last minute booking having never been to the hotel or Weston before. Having read the mixed reviews we were not expecting much in relation to the hotel but was a place to stay at short notice bearing in mind a lot of hotels shut down this time... more

We stayed for a 2 night break over the weekend. Yes, the hotel is in a time warp but that adds to its individuality. It was clean, comfortable and warm. All of the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was more than adequate and cooked well, with as much toast and coffee as you asked for. Shirley,... more
