It was great experience. Very nice and helpful hostess Sarah, great atmosphere all around the house, tasty breakfast with home-made jam and afternoon-surprises in our room (cakes)! We had lovely room and we felt ourselves great. Thank you for all hospitality! More

My husband and I happened upon Roscrea back in August when travelling through England. What a gem of a place. Sarah is the consumate hostess with all her lovely home-made goodies and quirky collector pieces dotted throughout the place. We had a lovely room at the front of the house and did not notice any noise from traffic as the... More

This is a very traditional and well serviced B and B. Sarah is a very welcoming host and made me feel that nothing was too much trouble. She cooked the most delicious breakfast i think Ive ever had, with her own chickens eggs, honey from her own been hive, locally sourced bacon and sausage, and home made preserves. The bedroom... Stayed two nights in Roscrea B&B. We had a beautiful room. Very comfortable. The whole house including the bedrooms are filled with really quaint, cool, eccentric books, pictures and stuff in general! beautiful old house. House is on a busy street traffic-wise and so would imagine that any rooms at the front of the house would be quite noisy so... More

The b&b is an old school master’s house directly onto the street, They offer off-street parking outside two garages, a five minute walk away, off a town car park. Sarah met us at the door and helped us unload whilst I was parked in the busy street outside the b&b before driving to their off-street parking. She gave us a... More

I stayed for three nights in an ensuite room, which had a spotlessly clean shower room with lovely Victorian-style fittings that really complemented the general decor of the room. The room itself was cosy, clean and spacious with lots of lovely little touches that made it feel more like the guest bedroom in a (particularly hospitable) friend's house than a... More

We only stayed for one night, so didn’t spend too much time here. The house is an old school master’s house, directly on a busy street (however traffic cannot be heard from inside your bedroom). Sarah & Nick gave us a very friendly welcome and showed us around the main house which includes a dining room & drawing room with... More

We found Roscrea last August (2010), our daughter had just moved there and we were visiting. What a find!! We were welcomed in more as friends than paying guests. Nothing was to big an ask. The room was warm and welcoming with a lovely power shower, all in keeping with the Victorian decor and very clean. There was a complimentary... More

Sarah and Nick were welcoming hosts with tea and bread pudding which pretty sure was homemade. Comfy bed and fab shower and good breakfast. Parking not on site but literally 2 mins walk away and can unload outside front door. More
