Our stay at Common Barn Farm provideed us with many memories of a lovely weekend in the Peak District. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly, the rooms were very comfortable, clean and well appointed. We booked a last minute bank holiday get-away, choosing the Peak district for the beautiful country roads, views and tranquility. we got what we expected and more. lovely room with bunk beds for the kids which they loved. really nice en-suite bathroom with great shower. very warm and cosy.Rona cooked us a lovely english breakfast and was very cheerful and friendly, and was happy to tell us some local history including how they have converted the barn into the cottages... more

Rhona our host was so helpful and friendly it made our break with friends so much easier as one was in a wheel-chair (facilities for her were really good) and the other had walking difficulties - lovely bright and airy cafe where we all had breakfast and a nice lounge to relax after we had been out for dinner -... more

My husband and I stayed here with my mother for one night. The welcome was great and it was good that the tea room was open when we arrived. The rooms and the breakfast were lovely and I would definitely recommend it. more
