Stayed for 2 nights for business. The breakfast was very nice and the room was ok but a bit tired. Be warned you sign a disclaimer to make you aware of the extreme noise at the weekend due to the hotels night club. Free parking is good feature. Good indian and italian restaurant nearby.

this is a very staff friendly comfortable place to lay your head.only does bar meals but there are a few good eateries within 10 minute walk.good warm rooms in the winter.breakfast is ok with a lot of choices.

This is not an easy hotel to find, despite being a large imposing building in Hartlepool high street. The room punched way above its price, even in November. Have just returned from 3 week stay at Hillcarter. Excellent hotel, clean with brilliant staff. Couple of functions over the weeks but never really bothered by noise. Breakfast great, bar prices more than reasonable.
