Great B&B, small, family run, welcoming, clean and excellent value for money. We have just returned from a short break with our little dog and were made to feel very welcome and really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable, well decorated and homely. Cracking breakfasts - healthy options available, if you must turn down a well cooked full... more

Stayed for two nights, lovely location although a good mile walk from station. Rooms a tad on the small side but functional however, bed was very uncomfortable and we both slept badly, bedding was also outdated and worn. Owners very nice and interior well kept and maintained, breakfast was ample and service was good. more

Thanks so much for your kind comments about service and cleanliness. We're sorry you didn't sleep well . What a shame you didn't mention the bed when you were staying with us - we would have done our best to address the problem, although the mattress and bedding are less than 6 months old. Cleanliness, good food and a good...

Happened on this Hotel whilst passing, and the owners were outside. They helpfully invited us inside and showed us their hotel. We booked there and then. The breakfast was stunning, ample portions and lasted us until lunch very easily. We were all made to feel welcome and at ease from our arrival. The rooms were immaculate in their neatness, presentation... more

We were given a warm welcome. They allow dogs which was great for us. Helpful telling us where to walk the dog. We were in room 4 which was an alright size. Very clean and tidy and good breakfast. We didnt sleep particularly well as were disturbed by noise on the landing (people returning back in the early hours). The... more

Stayed at the Craigwell for two nights, 27th and 28th May and can highly recommend it. Booked a superior room on the second floor with fantastic views of the bay. The room itself was quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean and had a dinky but adequate en suite. Breakfasts were excellent , freshly cooked to order and with a good choice.... more

First time at the Craigwell Hotel. Was very happy with outside of hotel and even more when shown inside and to my room. Staff were very friendly and helpful with an excellent service during breakfast, and served at a time to suit. Room was very clean and view over Morecambe Bay from window was fantastic. Lovely fresh modern decoration throughout... more
