Very warm welcome, offered hot drinks on arrival, good attention to detail: bathrobes, home made cookies, sweets,nice clean bedding, en suit was lovely and large. Reception warm and friendly. The attention we had throughout was just what we needed - there when necessary and otherwise unobtrusive. Room very comfortable with all we could have wished for. If you want Travelodge style accommodation then this is not for you. If you want freindly personal service with individual homely rooms and one to one dervice and attention then this is the place. The food is wonderful as are the hosts. More

Very disappointed with the decor in the hotel. Everywhere was cluttered and over the top in the lounge area and very dull and dark. In the rooms, the shower was non existent.
