Stayed here last night [8th May] for our anniversary. We were lucky in that we had been given a Groupon voucher for a stay here as a Xmas present, so chose this date especially. Firstly, the situation is idylic being on top of a mountain surrounded by lovely hills and countryside. Parking easy, reception friendly and helpful. We were given... More

Arriving for a family wedding we were greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff at Llechwen hall. The service was lovely and the Staff ensured all ran smoothly! The venue lends its self to photos and if your looking for somewhere to have service, phoos and your reception i could hardly recommend anywhere better! The wedding breakfast was served promptly... We stayed here on a Sunday evening - it was very quiet and we felt like a bit of an inconvenience. When we arrived there was no one to be found on the reception desk, we rang the bell and waited, there was a lot of noise coming from the dining room so I went to investigate only to find... More

Decided to try this establishment as I heard some good reports. Unfortunately, my visist for Sunday Lunch was disappointing. The service was very good and attentive and I cannot fault that at all, but they were let down by the roast beef meal served. The soup starter was small, in a bowl similar to cup-a soup, and although the main... More

A very grand 3 star hotel that should be a 4 star, resembling a small country house, rooms were of a very superior standard, full service with menu, all mod cons and plenty of tea and coffee in the room, ideal for offical receptions and weddings, marvelous panoramic views of the welsh hills for 380 degrees around the hotel, I... Had a groupon voucher which was very good valus for money. When we got there, we liked the surrounding picturesque views and the decor was lovely. We stayed in room 1 which had a lovely 4poster bed and beautiful views accross the mountain. We had a 3course meal which included duck to start, beef & chicken roast for main course... More

We recently went to Llechwen Hall as a family for sunday lunch on Easter Sunday. Upon arrival we were greated by the lovely Leanne who asked if the children in our group would like to take part in their Easter egg hunt (something we were not expecting) The children were so excited and it was such a lovely touch to... this is the second time I have been to the restaurant for an evening meal with work colleagues. It did not disappoint and the food was excellent and the service was very good. The food was well presented and cooked and arrived hot. There was a large group but none of us was kept waiting. Definitely a place to try. More

I'm amazed at the positive reviews of this place. It's like Fawlty Towers. The reception is threadbare and the whole place should have been refurbished about 30 years ago. The staff, whilst pleasant, clearly don't really give a monkeys and have no idea about customer service. My room didn't have a remote for the TV and when I asked for... More

Stayed overnight as I have family in the area. It wasn't easy to find, but once you had found it, it was easy after that. The views from the hotel are stunning, as the hotel is situated at the top of a valley. Our room was in the converted barn building and was a lovely big room with 2 large... More
