Me and my wife stayed one night at the Castlecroft Bed & Breakfast as we were attending a friends wedding reception in Denny, Stirling. I never stay in B&B's because I am a self confessed snob and always opt for hotels. I decided to stay here due to the feedback on previous Trip Advisor reviews. I was not disappointed. I... more

I chose this hotel based on the reviews and location. Laura was very helpful and friendly, offering us tea upon arrival and showing us available rooms to choose from. They are in the process of compiling a dining guide, but helped us choose restaurants. Breakfast is included in the very fair price and it was amazing! It was a standard... more

The B&B has ample off street parking and a lounge room that is big and comfortable with some very good views of Stirling. Laura was most accommodating and fed us coffee and cake on arrival. Breakfast was a big or as small as you would like and very good. The castle is a small walk up the hill and I'd... more

We arrived at the start of the bad weather for a planned overnight stay on our way to spend Christmas in the Highlands and received the warmest welcome from Laura and her mum. On arrival we were served a very welcome pot of tea and home made cake in the lovely lounge. Our room was big, warm and comfortable and... more

This is the first time my family stays with B&B and we have a wonderful surprise. We were warmly welcomed by Laura by the door when we first arrived. The layout of the place especially the view in the lounge is spectacular, the upper floor and basement provide privacy and at the same time give a sense of mystery to... more

Castlecroft is an extremely cosy house, with nice clean comfortable rooms. Its location is really good because it is right next to Stirling castle. Laura is a very friendly hostess and an excellent cook (homemade cake when we arrived and haggis for breakfast). We really enjoyed our stay there!! Plus it is very cheap for the quality of the service more

Despite having vacationed in Europe for more than 30 years, this year is the first time my family and I opted to try a Bed and Breakfast. We were always a bit reluctant about staying in someone's house and having to abide by their rules and possible intrusions. But with hotel costs in Britain jeopardizing the whole concept of ever... more

Castlecroft is very near Stirling Castle and the views over Stirling to the hills beyond are stunning. The new owners, Laura and Isobel, are very welcoming (without being intrusive). The rooms are well set up and comfortable. The breakfast is really wonderful. more

We would recommend Castlecroft to anyone visiting Stirling or Scotland in general. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from Stirling city centre and also provides a great home base for traveling all over Scotland. The view is spectacular. The rooms are spacious, clean and come with many amenities. The breakfast was incredible: a lot of variety and all... more
