no welcome. Dinner a disgrace. No interest why our meals had not been eaten. Other guests felt the same. Morning staff commiserated and breakfast ok; explanation was that they had a new cook on his 1st night. No apology from manager nor response to written comments. shame. more

stayed for 3 nights, staff are so so helpful and take very good care of their guests. the accomodation is excellent, and the food in the restaurant was the best i had eaten in a hotel for some considerable time very convenient for the town centre and local attractions. highly recommended. more

The Good: Free wi-fi, although useless in the room, ok in the hall outside though. Location pretty good. Not real close to the Castle but it's not a big town. Staff were very helpful.
