“Park Stay and Go Package”

Very comfortable nights stay prior to departure, large well equipped bedroom. Excellent dinner at Sampans restaurant. Good shuttle-bus service to airport. Avoid parking car under trees or expect to spend quite some time clearing bird deposits from your vehicle on return !

On the morning of January 18, 2013, Heathrow was essentially shut down. Our ongoing flight to Rome was canceled. After eight hours of queuing, BA told us to get an hotel room. No criticisms, and easy to get to by the Hotel Hoppa buses which run from LHR. Clean, safe, comfortable night, easy check in... But it's an airport hotel, and pretty much what you see is what you get. Got an exceptional deal when I booked, which made it fabulous value for money. Would stay again, but it is nothing notable.... Modern, clean and ideally located for most theme parks (legoland, Thorpe park, Chessington). The staff are wonderful, and the hotel amenities are excelllent. The only shame is the time to checkin, as this took a while due to transit passengers checking in. Shame the hotel does not have Swimming pool. The hotel has a fantastic chinese / thai restaurant which serves superb food. The Restaurant manager knows me so well and I am always met with a smile and quick, fast service.
