I have had many trips to Southport for business and have found the Edendale to be welcoming, clean and comfortable and quiet. The breakfast menu is excellent and the food equal to it. As we leave, we book again for our next visit. More

Just got back from Edendale after a 4 night stay.The host was very attentive the full English breakfast was great and set you up for the day although other breakfasts were available(scrambled egg was lovely). just stayed at the Edendale. The room was clean and comfortable but bathroom very tiny and only had a shower which we were not told about but hotel was full so not worth saying anything! Just arrived back after a good stay. Very good attentive host who dealt with things well on his own due to his wife being ill, some good hints on where to eat around the area. Went to the area for daughters hen weekend/Grand National in a group of 8. Lovely large rooms, very warm, comfortable, quiet. Food 1st class and plentiful. Owners very obliging and helpful. Drinks from fridge not at rip-off prices. Could not find any fault with entire stay - other than I would have liked to stay longer!! More
