My husband and I took my mother to stay at this hotel for 2 nights. Rooms are spacious and spotless. Very good choice of food for breakfast. We would recommend this hotel for a stay. Only thing missing is a lift, this would have helped my mum as she has bad knees, other than that, excellent. more

The rooms were excellent and the breakfasts were very tasty. The hosts were very friendly, and we were only steps away from the shops and restaurants. My sister and I were there for about 4 days in 2005, and if we get back to Southport, that's where we will stay. more

An excellent hotel situated just off the sea front and well positioned for a walk down Lord St. The owners were very pleasant and although I stayed only one night in a very nice room with all amenities I look forward to a return visit for a longer stay. We spent an extremely enjoyable week at this excellent hotel. The room was spotlessly clean with everything we needed; a well fitted ensuite bathroom, armchairs, large soft towels, and a very good size tv.
