A friend and I recently stayed 3 nights at the Castlemead hotel, and it was absolutely wonderful. The location could not be better. We were given a twin room with a gorgeous sea view; the room was spacious, clean and the best part were the two windows with seats looking out at the view. The food was excellent and Lorna... more

Recenly had an extended break to celebrate a friend's birthday, arrived early and were met by very friendly and obliging staff, who provided tea on the lawn, overlooking the sea, castle, and church. During the stay, we ate each night in the restaurant, food was excellent with a very varied menu, unfortunately were not able to sample any sweets as... more

What a beautiful location, our bedroom had the most wonderful view of the church & sea. Rooms are clean, beds very comfy & all the towels etc you could possibly need. Food is extremely good with some very tasty local fish. There is no need to go elsewhere as the daily specials are varied & great value for money. Breakfast... more

we have just returned from a long weekend at castlemead, ten of us arrived on friday to celebrate a birthday and from start to finish we could not find fault. the weather was kind to us, which meant we could have afternoon tea, pre dinner drinks and if the evening is warm enough dinner on the lawn overlooking the stunning... more

This is probably one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in. It has a wonderful location in a quiet, unspoilt, rural area with magnificent sea views both from our bedroom and the dining room. Our room was very comfortable and spacious and the staff were very friendly and efficient, while unobtrusive. The breakfasts and evening meals were excellent, prepared to... more

We stayed at Castlemead earlier this month. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. We gained a good overall impression of the place as we stayed five days and had dinner there every night - food excellent tho' we had to start leaving out one of the five courses, as being in our 60's we can't quite put so... more

Perfect location for cliff walks and visiting the castle. Excellent food and service in the restaurant - reception and waiting staff delightful but overall experience very disappointing. more

We were really looking forward to this visit. The website photo's looked great and it's very near the beach and castle. Unfortunately, despite its £80 per night price tag, it really didn't live up to expectations. When we first arrived we couldn't get an answer at the door so went for a walk to the beach in the rain. When... more

If you're looking for the personal touch then this is the hotel for you. It's not actually in the town of Tenby but is instead about 8 miles away in a pretty village called Manorbier, which has a castle, a beautiful church and a stunning beach. The hotel itself is very traditional inside, a tiny bar downstairs and a dining... more
