I stayed here for just one night, after attending a business meting in Combe Martin and then walking the South West Coast Path from there to Ilfracombe. I was tired when I arrived, and went straight out to have dinner and then retired early, so I can't comment on anything except my room. But it was a sweet little room,... More

Kirsty and her team run a great little hotel. The rooms are really well set up - tea making facilities, hooks to hang things up, and room for toiletries in the bathroom. They have parking and do their best to accommodate everyone's cars without a fuss. They even allow small dogs! Breakfast was good and the verandah out the back... More

Wedding event at The Tunnels was wondeful. Planned by the couple and family but the service by helpful staff was exellent. A great venue. We stayed at the Harcourt Hotel and from the warm welcome when arriving, the rooms, food, and the amazing Kirsty who did everything she could, made our short stay first class. Parking in Ilfracombe is difficult... More

We (my husband, 24-year-old daughter, and I) arrived in Ilfracombe on a rainy day with no plans or reservations, and we feel so fortunate to have found our way to the Harcourt! It is modest and undistinguished from the outside, and you walk into a plain entry with a narrow flight of stairs, but don't let that first glimpse dissuade... More

This hotels really deserves to to do well and the breakfast was super. very good quality as well as quantity. I would... More

My fiancee and I stayed for three nights from 07/06/11 in Room No5 as a last minute break. Staff were very polite on phone booking the room in the afternoon and on arrival (approx 8pm) we were greeted and made to feel very welcome. We were told about good restaurants and pubs to visit in town and local tips etc,... More

Stayed in The Harcourt Hotel for a week in April. I can not recommend this hotel enough, beautiful rooms, very clean and spacious, lovely bar and terrace (with fantastic views of the sea, lovely to sit and have a cup of coffee and watch the waves) The owners are both wonderfully accommodating, very friendly and welcoming, nothing is to much... As stated in the title this is more of a Bed & Breakfast/Guest House than a Hotel, it is a total residential place that requires a key to get into the front door and also has its rules and regulations with a 'spot fine' being given for those that fall foul of those rules. That being said I found this... More
