I give this place 4/5 but ideally it would be 4.5/5, its a small b&b in the main street in kingussie with off street parking. Our room was facing a small courtyard with houses only a few feet away so we had to close the curtains. It was a small room but well equipped and a nice wee en -... More

We stayed here recently to catch the snow on the mountains at Cairngorm. Its about a 35minute drive to get the mountain but we'd really recommend it. Lovely cosy bed and very friendly/ helpful hosts. Even defrosted our car one morning! Fantastic breakfast and good recommendations for what to do in the local area. Would certainly stay again.

We stayed here for 3 nights over hogmanay for skiing in the Cairngorms. We found the owners very welcoming, attentive and helpful. We were given excellent local knowledge of places to eat and were updated daily on surrounding ski resort conditions. Breakfast is great - fab porridge and eggs with smoked salmon! Nice touches include heated towel rail in the... More

We chose to stay at Allt Gynack for one night in August 2012 as it was a break on our way north and we could stay with our dog. Firsty, let me assure you that even although we had a room that is assigned 'dog friendly', it was super clean, and there is no way you would know that other... More

Stayed here overnight and received a very friendly welcome from both Martin and Jen Stone. The rooms, bathrooms, dining area etc are all super spotless and well looked after. Breakfast was really nice with huge pots of coffee and tea at breakfast and extras available on request. All the cutlery and crockery was spotless as well. Were offered lots of... More

I stayed here with my partner and dog for a full week, using the guesthouse as a base for walking and touring the Highlands. The owners were very warm and welcoming, they went out of their way to help with places to eat an evening meal. Breakfast was very enjoyable and set you up for a days walking. The dog... More

Stayed here to do some hillwalking for the weekend. Very warm welcome. Friendly service. Good sized room, nicely furnished, comfortable bed and spotless. Good information on local cafes and restaurants. Well situated for town facilities - store across the road will make up rolls for a picnic lunch. Good breakfast with quality ingredients. Can't fault it.
