Room was clean and well furnished. Comfortable bed, but sometimes felt like we were rolling off due to poor support along edge of mattress. Breakfast hours 8:15 - 9:00 am which suited us fine but may be limiting for some travelers. Host and hostess were gracious and helpful with suggestions. Good location in Sandown - about 20 minute drive from... More

This guest house was a real find. Rooms and house lovely and clean and well presented. However, what makes it is the lovely welcome and kindness of the owners. They really are lovely people. If you are going to the Isle of Wight, this really is the place to stay!

Dear Traveller, I will start with what I didn't enjoy much. The welcome was not warm. When standing in the door, I was prompted by the gentleman to show whether I can fold my folding bike so that I could be allowed to take it with me into the room. A cyclist on a folding bike takes a folding bike... More

We have stayed here four times now and will most likely return next year. The owneres, Alison and Jim are very welcoming as are their staff. The breakfasts are excellent, the fresh fruit salads are delicious. You can have full English or any variation eg just egg on toast, good choice of cereals too. The family room we stay in... More

Had a four night stay - very clean room, and bathroom. Breaksfast room lovely and airy with a bit of classical music whilst having a marvellous breakfast (love the fresh fruit salads). Friendly owners and staff. Around the corner from the main shops and short stroll to the beach, would stay here again.

This is the 2nd time i've stayed here. There is a groundfloor disabled room ideal for my mum who has limited mobility. I had a single room on the first floor which was lovely and well equipped with all essentials, i.e. tea/cofffee, hairdryer,TV,lovely bathroom. The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, cereals and then a choice of cooked breakfast as well.... More
