I booked a long weekend at this spa hotel as a cheap birthday treat for my husband through a special offer at Travelzoo. With ferry, breakfast and dinner thrown in, it was a real bargain. We love cycling and I'd heard the Isle of Wight was great for that. After booking (and I paid extra over the special offer for... more

Just got back from the isle of wight, stopped at the melville hotel & spa. The room had a spa bath & was clean, the bed was very firm & creaked. We were told to book prior to going for the spa but did not though because it was out of season, we could not get in (its very popular).... more

We spent a very pleasant three days at this hotel. The staff are this hotel's greatest treasure. Very friendly. Very helpful. The food is of a good standard and well presented. The restaurant staff are friendly, attentive and tireless. Varied layouts for the rooms make a nice change from the uniformity of purpose built hotel rooms, each seems to be... more

Very reasonable price. Good package. Hotel seemed very reminiscent of the 1970's. Spa facilities ok, nothing to write home about. Restaurant in hotel very good more

We visited this hotel on half term and after moving from our other Hotel Lakeside Park Hotel in Ryde. When we arrived it was a bit of a let down. I booked the hotel because of the spa and pool. The staff were friendly enough and helped us check in. The overall appearance of the hotel is dated. To be... more

Visited this weekend with my partner whilst spending a few days in the Isle of Wight. One of the main reasons we booked was the fact it had a pool and spa. Firstly I think due to its name I was expecting something a little grander. Dont be fooled. Our first impressions were that we were staying in a modern... more

My friend and I decided we needed a few days away at the beginning of the year - a real girlie break. We found this amazing deal on Travel Zoo for the Melville Hall Hotel. What a bargain. I rang the hotel and booked a three-night spa break. This included half board and a half hour treatment on each day.... more
