My wife and I stayed for one night at the Avalon Hotel with our 2 Siberian Huskies. Really friendly staff, welcomed us on arrival and showed us straight to our room. Found the Avalon by chance when we were on a biking holiday, stayed for 2 nights although has originally planned 1. Friendly people who run it and the breakfasts really set you up for the day. Went to the Buskers night in the bar and was made to feel really welcome. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Whitley Bay. More
