I stayed here with my husband, dad and brother-in-law for 3 nights. My dad booked so I didn't know what to expect but on arrival the place was clean looking and Susan the owner was very welcoming. We were taken to our rooms, all of which were on the top floor but for 4 healthy humans was easy going up... More

like me, Don't worry you won't find a better establishment for your money here. I stayed with my sister in a twin room which was clean and comfortable, Susan's a lovely lady and is always keen to help, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent cooked perfectly and of good quality. I would certainly come back to wicklows... More

I booked in prior to going to work at the Masonic Lodge were CAMRA were holding their first Beer Festival. I landlaady and landlord were very friendly and wanted to know more of what I was doing. Every morning I was greeted with a smile and conversation before eating a full breakfast. I enjoyed my stay and will return as... More

Located on a quiet square about 15 minutes walk from the sea front this is a good base, especially if you have a car as parking was never a problem. It is true the walk from the front is uphill but then again any accommodation away from the front is uphill! The rooms are in the process of refurbishment and... More

The Wicklow Hills is great value for money. I was made very welcome and enjoyed a chat with Susan, the owner, over breakfast every morning. She was really helpful with information about where to park etc. Breakfast was fine and the public areas have been recently refurbished so are fresh, clean and modern. The bedroom was not large but there... More

I felt I was misled on the distance from the ferry terminal. It was a good 1/2 hr. walk, not the 15mins.I was told. There was a hell of a hill to get to it,however if you had a car it would be no bother. The room was small, but very clean. The bathroom was tiny, with nowhere to put the bathtowel... More

I find this review deeply offensive and upsetting and cannot understand why the guests who wrote it did not at any time mention they were unhappy and thus did not give us the opportunity to resolve the issues they had. The room they were given had new carpets and curtains and a kingsize bed with crisp white linen on and... More

We stayed at Wicklow Hills for 3 nights in Jun'10, and were very . The guest house itself is very centrally located just 5 minutes from the ferry and 2 minutes drive uphill from the promenade in Douglas [turn at the Central hotel]. The owners Susan & Philip are very welcoming & helpful. The rooms although small are perfectly adequate and... More

My Father and I stayed at this great Guiest House during the TT Races, at very short notice. Phill and Susan made us very welcom and showed us around. The bedroom was very comfortable, clean and met our expectations. . The breakfast lasted us well into the afternoon. Nothing was to much trouble from first thing in the morning to... More

Me and the wife stayed here for a short break of 3 nights. Luke warm reception. Staff helped us with a parking permit so we could park right outside, which was good, fairly limited parking in this residential area. Nice enough area with nice views out the front onto gardens across the road. Not too far from the centre although... More
