We booked this hotel on the strength of other Trip Advisor reviews and they were all "spot on". This is a gem of a small Hotel with good old fashioned service. We stayed in the Coral Reef Room for 3 nights, it was quiet and peaceful, spotlessly clean and the biggest bathroom/dressing room you have ever seen. Paul and Cheryl... More

A very pleasant stay. The location of the hotel is excellent with beautiful sea views. A most convenient bus stop just outside the hotel meant we were able access our walking start points and return to the Leconfield easily. Paul and Cheryl were attentive hoteliers, rooms were well appointed, extremely clean, breakfasts were very good, and the evening meals generally... More

Just returned from a 4 night stay at this fantastic peaceful hotel. We went away to relax and spoil ourselves for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary and we certainly did that. We stayed in the Captains Bridge Room which has huge patio doors out on to a very large Patio area with stunning views out to sea. The weather was very... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely hotel. We went away to relax and spoil ourselves and we certainly did that. We stayed in the Dolphin Room which has doors out on to the garden. We were blessed with lovely weather (even though there was snow in Yorkshire!) and were able to sit out in the garden.... More

Utterly perfect setting, right near to anything you oculd need but being a slight hill meant nothing overlooks you - your view of the sea is second to none in the area! Stayed here with my sister, only for a couple of nights as a flying stopover but it is definitely in my plans to visit again. We had one... More

I stayed here in November with my sister and we had one of the large twin rooms. It was in fact a very large room with a seperate dressing room and a large bathroom. We had a large balcony/ patio and even though it was November the weather was warm enough, even in the early morning, to sit out on... More

We have recently returned from the Leconfield having spent New Year there. Having stayed at this wonderful place last February,we were very much looking forward to a return visit, but our New Year break far exceeded our expectations. We arrived on Dec 30 mid afternoon with a log fire lit in the lounge and afternoon tea being served - scones,... More

In early December 2011, we came from California to the Isle of Wight. Our stay at Leconfield provided beauty, luxury and warmth way beyond my expectations. The spacious and elegant two-room suite with large marble bathroom (The Admiral Suite, I believe) had a large deck overlooking the beautiful-even-in-December grounds and the sea. Paul and Cheryl were excellent hosts, with Paul... More
