I always consult tripadvisor before booking a holiday & looking at the very good comments about the Harrow Lodge I had no hesitation in booking a week here in April. I spoke with Alan who as said before was very efficient at booking the ferry Southampton to Cowes,he was a helpful sort of chap. I told him I needed a... More

We booked the hotel via telephone for the special offer including ferry, which was alot cheaper than buying seperately, Alan was very helpful and arranged all our ferry bookings very promptly. Checking into the hotel we were greeted and had everything explained to us. We went to our room (no 1) and WOW the view was fabulous, the floor to ceiling... More

I always come over here to go camping but this year my sister decided to stay at this hotel, I looked at her room and it was lovely but the reason for my review was the Sunday lunch, we booked in for 17 people which wasn't any problem for the owners and at £6.95 for three course my expectations were... I booked this hotel as a special offer which included accommodation and ferry crossing. Alan the owner asked me my preferred sailling times and within the hour he had e-mailed the ferry tickets. All we had to do was turn up. Brilliant! The hotel is very clean. We were given a good size double room with en-suite shower; again very... More

It's not a full service hotel, or a decent B&B. It's the weird step sister of both. The room I was in was small and clean but the bed smelled of urine. Cleaning woke me up each day so much for sleeping in past 10. One thing that really, really bothered me was that I stayed for dinner one night... More

Contrary to the other review, I did not have any problem with the room. through the windowThe room was clean, spacious and had all listed facilities. I could also see the early morning sun. If you like to sleep till late you would... More

Lynn, Alan and the other staff made us feel very welcome and made it into a friendly atmosphere. We went to the Harrow lodge as a family of 3 (teenage daughter) and this hotel is definitely worth more than 2 stars. We had an absolutely fantastic time whilst we stayed there and made a whole load of new friends and... More

It'sa good spot to get to both the beach and to the Old Village. Breakfast is only served for an hour, which is a problem as the staff can't keep up. More
