I recently attended a wedding on the Isle of Wight and needed a B & B just for one night. Having read other trip advisor reviews I booked the Royston Guesthouse. We were able to drop off our bags and pick up our room key in between the church service and the reception, previously arranged via email without fuss. The... More

We have just enjoyed another short stay with Guy and Claire. Nothing is too much trouble, the room was spotlessly clean and my husband always enjoys the breakfasts which are freshly cooked to order. I prefer a lighter option and there were plenty of cereals and fruit followed by as much toast as you could eat! The Royson is situated... More

We arrived on the Tuesday to be greeted by the owner who also helped us up to our top floor room with our luggage. The room was freshly decorated in a tasteful manner and was lovely and bright with a cute little en suite shower room. Food was lovely and they took care of your needs, nice little bar downstairs... The rooms are tastefully decorated and include a (very small) TV. The breakfasts were lovely with a range of cereal and fruit on offer. The day before you order what cooked breakfast you want and they are very flexible accommodating to your needs. We really enjoyed the beaches (we were so lucky to get good weather!) that we didn't try... More

We have just spent a week at this excellent guest house. The room was very comfortable, freshly decorated and great view of the sea. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, as were the evening meals. Guy and Claire made us very welcome. We will certainly be returning to The Royson on our next visit to the Isle... More

We are a group of golfers who have been using The Royson for over ten years. Since Claire & Guy have taken over it has just got better and better nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast is the best you could ask for. We were their first customers when they took over and we will keep coming back... More

We booked a last minute short break at this guest house based on recent trip advisor and our daughters recommendation as our usual B&B was full. Our daughter told us that it was quiet, spotlessly clean and the food lovely when she stayed there a couple of years ago - and its not changed. Guy and Claire are friendly, helpful... More

This guest house is simply the best. We have visited for four years now for the I.O.W scooter rally and every time we go it is just as good. The bedrooms are immaculate, the decor is always fresh, and well chosen. New beds this year and so comfortable, I could not get up in a morning. The breakfasts are made... More
