Had a very comfortable stay, staff all very friendly, everywhere spotlessly clean, rooms an adequate size and well equipped. Plenty of tea, coffee, drinking chocolate and biscuits and as there was a fridge in the room had the offer of fresh milk which was provided every day as well as bottled water. The home made chocolate fudge was a nice... More

We travelled with two other couples and they had their own rooms (7 & 8), we arrived to a warm welcome and three well equiped rooms, plenty of teas coffee water and home made sweets. We had the room behind reception, no doubt about it, it has a small toilet/shower-room area, but it was adequate, quiet, clean and comfortable as... More

As the title suggests we had a much nicer stay at this hotel than the Hillside, which is strange when you consider the price of the Hillside and its Trip Advisor rating. I make comparisons with the Hillside because it shows people that you do not need to pay big money to make sure of a nice stay. So the... More

My daughter and I stayed for 4 nights over Easter. We had the twin room downstairs which although compact was spotlessly clean. The fridge is stocked with bottled water with the option of also having fresh milk. Sue, the owner, and her staff were very obliging and provided all that was needed to make our stay relaxing. Excellent breakfast and... More

The Kenbury is very clean, with coffee, tea and hot chocolate making facilities in the room plus a couple of biscuits. We asked for a quiet room and we had a good room, quiet at night. However in the morning we were woken up by the people in the next room talking, we could hear them very loudly. The bathroom... More

Had a great stay here for a few nights, and enjoyed some of the best bacon and pork sausages I've ever had in the English breakfast! Very friendly and helpful staff. The room we stayed in was small, but we were warned of this in advance and given the option to switch to a larger room, so no complaints. Tea... More

We (a couple with 2 daughters, 19 and 12 years old) stayed in a family suite for 2 nights. Everything was just perfect: welcoming service, fresh milk and mineral water in the fridge, private parking, convenient location, and absolutely fantastic breakfasts (as in a 5* hotel). More
