Reception person was great but who ever owns this place needs to get a grip because it is under staffed and could do with fumigating. Del Boy and co would not even put their name to the decor in this place. Tele; toilet; window and shower all were broken. The food was the worst I have tasted in my life;...

We chose this hotel as the menu published on-line had a variety of vegetarian options. In reality there was one starter and one main course. The waiter (who did his best and was very nice) said the chef 'liked a challenge' so could make something else. The something else turned out to be the most disgusting plate of spaghetti I...

Decided to go out for an impromptu Saturday lunch and after our original choice told us that they stopped serving at 2 we called the Bayswell who asked what time we were arriving and when we said "just after 2" they said that that the chef would be happy to stay on!

Almost 30 of us stayed at this hotel last night as a group booking.
The hotel is tired; numerous lights were not working; the mildew in the shower is foul; the carpets are dirty, torn and defective; the breakfast was poor; there were holes in the floor of one of the bath rooms; the pillows were lumpy; the beds are...

The hotel is in a handy spot in the middle of Dunbar. It is, however, really tired in terms of its decor. There are some parts that look ok (eg the restaurant) and bits of the room we were in looked like they are started work on them but it just had never been finished (eg there was a lovely...
