This hotel is run by friendly people who make you feel special. They looked after us so well we hardly wanted to leave. The room was spotlessly clean and the kingsize bed was a bonus. The evening meal was wonderfull better than what seemed to be on offer in the small town. This hotel was a great find, I would... more

I stayed at this hotel recently and was blown away by the service. The town was busy on the weekend i stayed, so was lucky to have found a room at all. But I was so glad that i stayed at this hotel. The staff were very helpful, and friendly. A good location and a clean and comfortable hotel. more

Had a great night at The Rossborough Hotel, was a bit apprehensive after reading previous post!! I went with my partner for the Hogmanay Ball, food entertainment and staff were all excellent. Rooms were great and had a huge comfortable Kingsize bed! Breakfast was amazing and well received after a few too many drinks the night before! Well done to... more

Incompetent and rude staff. They failed to make a record of our booking despite calling 3 months before our stay AND calling the night before to confirm our reservation. There was no shampoo or body soap in the shower and in the toilet in the lobby area had no soap. Our request for a wake up call was either ignored... more

Stayed here 2 nights as we had a wedding to attend nearby, the room was nice and clean the beds were comfotable (including an extra bed put in especially for our 4yr old) The reception staff organised us taxis and let us have use of a laptop (free of charge) to check emails. Breakfast was a bit early for us... more

From the moment you arrive and open the glass door with a broken pane you suspect there might be a lack of attention to detail. You walk through a very cold uninviting old style sunlounge extension to the check in desk. The dog sitting with the owner rather puts you off, and I am a dog/cat lover! We check in... more

Stayed in this hotel with my wife and two grandchildren. Had a great time, well looked after ,very pleasant clean room and good food. We were made very welcome by all staff and will definitely stay there again. Have travelled extensively throughout Europe with the children and this hotel compares more than favourably with any in which we have stayed. more

First two hotels we tried in Dunbar were fully booked so one suggested we try the Rossborough. We had a look at the room which looked fine with nice large bathroom. This was late in the afternoon after a long day of touring so we booked and they requested the money up front. Went for a drink and a bite... more
