Only stayed for one night, but will be back again, In a great location close to cinema, town and harbour. still far enough away to be quiet. New owners been there 8 years and they are great. nothing is too much trouble, breakfast was lovely.

Great location and if you don't mind that the rooms are very dated (think MFI) then it is in a great spot close to beech, town, pier etc. Breakfast was very limited choice cereal, fruit juice and a fried breakfast that included a deep fried sausage. We stayed at THE TORLAND HOTEL for 15 days and as usual we were not disappointed Chris and her daughter Marie looked after us so well , nothing is too much trouble , we have B&B + EVE MEAL and boy can Chris cook , you will not be disappointed for meals and great value , just bring bigger clothes...

just stayed at the torland for 4 days and we loved it, my wife loved our ground floor room she could sit on the decking which she enjoyed its full of flowers, breakfast was great staff so friendly, will be going back very soon, love the fact that nothing is to much trouble "thank you "

Arrived at the Torland, i was asked to fill out a booking slip in the hallway
(it says on their website, fill out slip in their lovely lounge while enjoying a free beverage of your choice). This did not happen.
The place is a little old fashioned, but i expect all guest houses are, just not sure how it got...
