Stayed here for two nights and it ticked most of my boxes: immaculately clean; very comfortable beds with white linen; large, white towels; pristine bathroom with very efficient shower; well-decorated and lots of power points and mirrors. Also, nothing creaked: beds, doors or floors, which is a big bugbear of mine! Breakfast was good and freshly cooked and nothing was... More

This is the third time we have stayed in Earlston House and have always enjoyed our visits. I had to stay for a night at short notice with my 6 month old daughter and was made to feel extremely welcome. On arrival I was upgraded to a larger room for no extra cost which I really appreciated. The cooked breakfast... More

Me and my family required a couple of nights to stay over in the seaside area. We booked as it came up on budget. Plus we had a 15 month baby to think about. Rooms clean you could eat your food off of the carpets, breakfast freshly cooked - full English absolutely spot on. New refurbished bathroom really posh. Really... More

My husband & I have just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel. I am a little obsessive to say the least, when it comes to choosing the right accommodation ;) I took ages sorting through reviews and was thrilled with my choice. This is a lovely place to stay, Marie & Sally are very welcoming and friendly,... More

Me and my partner stayed here for a week over summer to explore Devon and chose this b&b based on its Tripadvisor reviews and the website pictures. The good things were the breakfast, the bathroom was nice, new and spacious, the seafront and pubs/places to eat were a nearby walk, relatively quiet location, plenty of information and facilities in the... We have just spent four nights at the Earlston and had a lovely time, Sally & Marie are excellent hosts, and the breakfasts we lovely. We enjoyed some lovely evenings in the bar with other guests who were very friendly, and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Would certainly stay again if we are in the area. More

My wife and I have stayed in lots of guest houses, b&b's and hotels all over the country. We always start our visit with a points system which starts at 10. Points can be given or taken away depending on a number of criteria. No one so far has kept all of their 10 points in all the places in... More

This is probably one of the best guest house’s we have stayed in. Room six was spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable. Marie and Sally are excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast is great. There is a small bar where we enjoyed a drink and talking to other residents. We will definitely be returning to Earlstone... More

This was the second time we stayed at Earlston House and we would highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of staying in Paignton. The rooms are much larger than most and as we are used to a king size bed, it is nice not to have to squeeze into a small double like in some hotels! The breakfasts... More
