Stayed here for three nights, unfortunaltely the first night no sleep due to very busy traffic on the main road. We notified the staff and within half an hour we were moved to a lovely room at the back of the hotel, which reduced the noise level immensley. Stayed for 3 nights on the royal wedding weekend and booked the four poster room with its own entrance which made it feel more personal. Hotel has plenty of parking which is an advantage and us roughly 5 mins from Windermere village and 10-15 from bowness. We were lucky with the weather so were happy to walk between the two.... More

Lovely warm welcome, Amy & Kerry were exceptional, breakfast was excellent, our whole stay was faultless. Ideal base for the Lakes, just a short walk to either Bowness or Windermere. Truly fabulous hotel will definitely return in the future. More
