Customer service was for a high standard; nothing was too much bother for them - thank- you. Evening meal and breakfast were fantastic - talented chef/s in kitchen - yum yum! Garden was pretty with an added bonus of sitting in our room balcony watching the birds and squirrels feeding. Would recommend Burn How and we will definately return.

Rooms...older but quaint, but very clean and comfy.....staff wonderful. Location very good The breakfast...sensational..the best we have had in the UK, perhaps a little overpriced bit an enjoyable stay Downside no lift and no concierge, so be prepared to carry your bags up the stairs

Great room, overlooking the garden in the old house. Room not modern, but perfect for the surroundings. Bathroom clean and new. We went on the trip advisor deal which included breakfast and dinner. Both were stunning, the three course meal was a real treat. Really great location close to the lake with parking, I would recommend for a romantic getaway

The attentitive staff and wonderful food make this a hotel to make a bee line for its also perfectly positioned for walking into bowness to reach the lake and other attractions all at hand . The breakfast is glorious with everything to choose from and evening meal a delight
