Lovely room, good location and a very friendly service. Only fault was that its sates that it is a bed and breakfast and there wasnt a full english served it was more of a continetal breakfast and I think the type of breakfast sholud be stated. Other than I really enjoyed my stay. More

We stayed here last minute in August this year and we were pleased with the great central location, close to bars and shops, but not too noisy, even though it's near a main road. The cottage has beautiful gardens and friendly owners (the male owner knows everything so be warned!) and a private car park around the back for guests... More

We spent 2 nights at Holly Cottage and had a lovely time. Jan & Jim were very hospitable and Jim even very kindly changed our flat tyre in the rain for us! I'd highly recommend a visit to Bowness-On-Windermere and a stay at Holly Cottage More
