The location is decent just a short distance to Bowness. The hosts were lovely, interested, informative and welcoming. Breakfast was really tasty, homely. If you're on a budget this is the place for you!

I wouldn't stay here again. The parking blocked 6 out of 9 cars in, the room smelt of stale cigarettes, the toilet was dusty, the bath was full of other people's pubic hair and the tea bags were digstusting. The best part about this place is the lovely owner that we meet. She gave great tips and was really helpful and friendly. It's very basic accommodation that seems a little dated. Our room was small. Having said that, it's clean and close to Windermere and you wont be spending much time in the room with such amazing countryside!

Lovely lady owner was the only good thing about this stay. Having made a last minute booking we went for one night for Valentines. The room was big enough but very dated in style (c 1990!). I have to say everything looked clean but the bedding, the towels, the faux gold sink fittings etc all made for a rather nervy...

Looks great &reads well on the net! Found it without too much of a hassle. Lovely friendly greeting but oh the lingering cooking smell!
