We have just returned from a weekend stay in this hotel. The food is outstanding and the room service was good. Unfortunately, the service whilst waiting for dinner, at breakfast and for afternoon tea was very poor. The frontline staff are on the whole very helpful, but the whole approach is chaotic. We travelled to Wood Hall for our son's wedding and stayed two nights. The rooms were immaculate, the food was fabulous and the staff couldn't have done any more for us. The wedding day was such fun and everything went off without a hitch. We will be returning to this wonderful venue. more

Just returned from a one night stay on their summer promotion rate, which we thought excellent value for money. The view of the hotel as you drive up is fantastic as are the views from the hotel. Check in smooth, but only 3 dining slots were left for dinner that night. Originally we did think about eating in the drawing... more

Attended a wedding at the Woodhall. Hotel The service between meals was slow the starter cold . The disco and evening entertainment could not start till late due to the slow service during the wedding meal, The breakfast was appalling.
