Had a great welcome on arrival, and a room with a view on the top floor. Dinner on the first night was very tasty and the waiting on staff were very friendly. The room was clean and spacious but the beds were uncomfortable and the shower was weak and would turn ice cold without notice. More

As we travel with a very big dog, it was getting quiete hard to find a pets friendly hotel. Then we found the Richmoor. the location is excellent, staff are friendly, parking facility is available, any size dogs are welcome and the cost was honest. well done. Highly recommended. More

Small seafront hotel at the end of the esplanade. Some good pubs and cafes are easily accessible along the seafront.(Try Moby Dick for great value fish and chips..and The Clipper for very reasonable wine). The hotel bar was modern and bright but lacked atmosphere. The bedroom (a twin) was of a good size for one person but the bathroom was small and... More

The only thing going for this pitiful hotel is the location. There isn't a proper space for parking the car. Customer service skills is zero. Rooms are a joke. Entertainment is for the living dead. The bar prices are not cheap as they claim. The only slightly good thing is the food which is served in a cheap basement conversion.... More

Small seafront hotel run by an extremely friendly and helpful family. Generally clean and tidy but rooms in need of a little investment. The basement restaurant however is the jewel in the crown. Fantastic menu, beautifully cooked and presented, and at a reasonable price. If we were local residents we would be regulars. We stayed for two nights and had... More

Hi we stayed at this hotel on the 24th March 2012, (my boyfriend, 6 year old son and myself) the owner and her staff are very accommodating, helpful and very friendly. We stayed for just one might, we had a meal in the evening which was very nice and breakfast in the morning which was also very good. We all... More

Lovely family run hotel right on the seafront. We were promised seaview rooms, and because we took our elderly parents requested rooms which were reached by the lift. We got exactly this, and the rooms were spotlessly clean, and nicely decorated. The bathroom was fine and once the shower warmed up, fine. Lorraine the owner was so friendly and we... More

Such a friendly and inviting hotel that I would have no hesitation to go back to. We had a lovely sea-view room with everything you could ask for in it. All staff went out of their way to help and always had a smile on their face. Felt like a second home but by the sea. Food absolutely fantastic and... More
