This place is seriously in need of some TLC outside of the main areas on the ground floor. Overpriced and not worth it. Better places outside the town. Very disappointed. more

I had my wedding reception here. The food was fantastic but the communication I got from a certain member of staff responsible for the wedding side was a discrace. I found out 2 weeks before children under 16's cannot stay in the hotel.....I was not told this, i found out when my sister tried to book in with her kids.... more

A wonderfully rambling old hotel with a delightfully old-fashioned charm. Enormous rooms, excellent, simple meals. Car parking cramped. more

When I found out I was going to be staying at this hotel I looked on trip advisor to see what reviews it had. When I read some of them I became very wary of the place, on the other hand the good ones were very good so I went with an open mind. I expected an older building and... more

We had our wedding reception at The Bell and it was a wonderful experience all round. We had guests from all over the UK, the US and Ireland, and all of them thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. If you’re looking for a modern-styled hotel with brand-new fixtures and appliances, The Bell isn’t it (though the rooms were well-kept and everything worked... more

I needed to be in Driffield for a private matter urgently. I called around and the Bell seemed to be the only hotel in the area. Having known the Bell for many years I felt confident it would be a good stay. However the entire building is in desperate need of investment and the phrase "resting on its laurels" couldn't... more

Booked this hotel via the Best Western website as it is well positioned as a base for touring East Yorkshire and the wolds. It's located right in the centre of the town on the market square and this causes noise problems for guests staying in the poorly soundproofed rooms at the front of the building from traffic and rowdy crowds... more

We booked this hotel as a health spa package because of the high rating's this hotel and spa have. The room's are very large and have everything you could need for a stay here...However, they are extremely dated, wether you view this as a positive or a negative it depend's on what kind of hotel you want. Personaly i thought... more

Dreadful. Rowdy location. Expect to park elsewhere in the town and walk back to the hotel. Enter your top of the range room/suite via the basement - a dungeon-like experience. Expect to sleep at ground floor level overlooking the too small hotel/pub car park & 2 pub back doors where drinkers congregate to smoke, kindly propping the doors open so... more
