A super place to stay and in a convenient position for visiting a wide array of places and doing lots of activities. I particularly enjoyed the walks, geology, history and gardens thanks to the very knowledgeable and helpful hosts. I was backpacking but no worries as the bus will stop at the gate. Would be great for groups.

we arrived on the friday afternoon to clean functional accomodation with great facilities, including pool, sauna, pool table, ping pong and tv lounge. Nice setting and friendly owners...enjoy

We've just got back from a week at Mallard Cottage and had a brilliant time. Cottage was very comfortable for the price. Swimming pool was wonderful, with a free sauna.
