The service was friendly and helpful. The building has some fine rooms and the gardens are spacious. The dining experience was positive, the food delicious and the wine list... More

Just spent a great weekend at an excellent hotel in the New Forest. The attitude of the staff has to be commended and nothing was too much trouble, in fact they bent over backwards to be helpful. The room itself was fairly large with a good range of facilities including kettle, iron and ironing board and a good sized safe.... More

Sorry about the title , it just seemed to come to mind ! 3rd visit in 18 months so it can't be all that bad . It's the location that sells it to us , it's so peaceful but also convenient for Lymington , Bournemouth , etc . The staff seem to be mainly long term fixtures , and on... More

We have stayed here many times in the past but have not visited for a while, as we felt standards and service levels had slipped. However, we thought we would give the Rhinefield another go as we love the location, which is superb. I am very pleased to say, that since our last visit things have improved dramatically. The service... More

We stayed in the Rhinefield House Hotel for two nights and look forward to eating in the new Grill Room which the Hotel website boasted was a “tasty Hampshire restaurant reflective of the famous London Grill Rooms and combining superb menus with intuitive traditional service.” The cost of dining in the Grill is more expensive than advertised on the hotel... Having stayed at most of the Handpicked Hotels I had expected a certain level of quality and service when booking The Rhinefield for my parents Christmas present. Unfortunately, my parents reported back that their room was very tired looking and even worse, it was dirty. They complained to the hotel staff who did send someone to clean the room, however,... We spent two nights at the Rhinefield hotel, and upgraded to an Executive room which is well worth while. The rooms are very comfortable, with everything you need. We had one of the rooms overlooking the forest which makes for a great way to wake up and have your breakfast. What struck us most about our stay was the excellent... More

We stayed for one night on 19th January as an anniversary celebration, we got married there 5years ago.
