We selected this lovely place on VisitScotland’s web site for a two nights stay. And, yes, the room –Victorian style - was very nice and the initial welcome, friendly… But, we still had to discover the “management’s notes” posted on various places in the room, or at the entrance… And the discovery of the “management’s communication style” is somewhat irritating…... more

It was very easy to book this B&B and the owner/host was very helpful and friendly. The Lodge was very clean and nicely decorated and the rooms were fine including range of beverages and toiletries. Spotless bathroom and soft clean towels. Breakfast (cooked and continental) was excellent. One tiny gripe was that the vanilla air fresheners were a little overpowering.... more
