This was our fourth visit to Arden House and it never fails to impress. In fact we ‘engineer’ a visit every time we visit Scotland if we can; it’s so good. We had the usual wonderful warm welcome from William and enjoyed the very welcome tea tray in their beautiful lounge. That alone is a treat in itself. Our room... More

My wife and I together with our son and daughter arrived at Arden House in the afternoon and were warmly welcomed by William who provided us with a fabulous tea served in a cosy but elegant living room that is provided for the use of guests. We stayed in the Tannochbrae room which is simply delightful and has a big... More

What can we add that has not already been said about Arden House? It is exceptional and what a duo! Thank you William and Ian for making our week special from beginning to end. We stayed in the Tannochbrae suite which supplied our every need. The room is large and comfy with arm chairs placed in front of the bay... More

My wife and I along with my parents had two rooms at this delightful home in September. Our hosts were warm and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. The rooms were in very good condition and clean. Breakfasts were delightful in the cozy dining area where you could interact (or not) with your fellow guests about the days... More

We loved our two-stay night stay at the Arden House in Callander for my husband and I and my business partner. William was very charming, warm and welcoming. Ian made the best cake, biscuits, bread and tea ever. The decor was beautiful and we loved the crisp, clean linens, fresh water in the rooms, toiletries and outstanding breakfasts. We appreciated... This is a B&B without fault. The welcome we received was friendly and informative. The tea, cake and biscuits served in the sitting room an unexpected treat. The room was emaculate and full of extra touches. The breakfasts with their daily specials something to look forward to each day. More

I stayed with my family at Arden House in May. We were arriving at Calander around 6pm after making a tour of Stirling Castle, and frankly we were quite tired. Fortunately we were warmly received by Ian and William who made us feel at home quite quickly and gave us great advice about what to do and where to eat... More

We really had a wonderful stay at Arden House, Ian and William were very welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious and there was lots of different choices including home made bread and a special dish of the day. The... Staying at Arden House is a real pleasure, it's a home from home with all the advantages of spectacular countryside. The hosts, William and Ian are very welcoming, full of good advice on where to eat and where to visit, and serve fantastic breakfasts together with home made fruit cake and shortbread on arrival. Rooms are beautifully furnished, beds very... More

My wife and I have recently returned from a 5 night stay at Arden House. We have to say that it is one of the best guest houses we've ever been in our 30 years travelling together. The beautiful detached Victorian house is situated up a quiet road and has fantastic views over Callander and the stunning countyside beyond. Inside,... More
