We frequented The Waverley Hotel when we stayed in Callendar in July. The staff were friendly and efficient. Great ales on tap, nice food and free wi-fi :-) More

13 of my family stayed in The Waverley Hotel, Callander in September 2011, while some of us did the hill climb of Ben Ledi which is nearby, the staff were great, the accommodation clean and modern. The pub food was lovely and catered for all tastes young and old, also with a fantastic selection of beers from the bar, and... More

Very good for our needs, we only needed a room for an overnight as we were attending a wedding reception in Callander, it was nothing fancy, but comfortable and clean with nice friendly staff and a hearty breakfast to send you on your way. More

A friendly bunch of staff, was shown to our room which was quiet (at the back), clean and comfortable. Enjoyed 2 meals in the evenings which were tasy and plentiful - these were served in the bar which had a pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast was served in a small dining room and was everything we required. (A small complaint) -the black... More

What a lovely little place, very, very good value for money. Was part of a coach trip that visited Callander in torrential rain in June. Yes, thats normal in Scotland. Lovely little bar and restaurant and hotel. We dined on gammon steak, haddock, steak pie, followed by tea and a host of scones and Mr. Kipling cakes, all for £8.95!... More

Stayed for 2 nights B&B. Place "rough" to say the least. Bed not made and breakfast served in a not too clean large (function room?) place. The hallway, reception area left a lot to be desired, also the incessant noise from the bar. All in all not the type off experience one would expect in this tourist area. The place and... More

I travelled to Callander with a group of friends for a wedding. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfy. Service was friendly and the beer was well priced :) It was a great location to explore the cute shops of Callander, there are many cheap charity shops, filled to the brim with great crockery and bits and bobs. The... More
