This is a standard Premier Inn - Consistency is always welcome. However I would not recommend staying here unless you have a car. The hotel is situated on a dual carriageway with no public transport available. We asked if there was a path to the Metro shopping centre and were directed along the grass verge of the dual carriageway and... More

cheap, clean and cheerful. Easy to park and breakfast is great. A taxi to the city centre is about £10, so not bad. Great staff. use this hotel when going to the footie. i think it's probably far enough out of the centre to avoid hen/stag parties. Always been quiet when I've stayed there. More

Booked this venue accidentally actually, I had thought it was at the small 'complex' comprising a Travel Lodge, 'Premier Inn', TGi Fridays bar and grill and a small Pub, this was a little bit aways and the 'Premier Inn' was actually a Holiday Inn Express. Anyway we were still happy as it was in spitting distance of the Metro and... More

The hotel is not far from the Metrocentre but it is not possible to walk safely to the shopping centre because there is no footpath or pavement. The road in front of the hotel is very busy most of the time. We saw some guests walking on the grass and mud in order to get there on foot (around 15... More

A really nice stay here. Both kids were given an easter egg which was a really nice touch. All staff were very attentive and friendly. We walked to the metro - but i wouldn't want to have done this if my husband wasn't there as not the best path and really secluded. I would definately recommend a stay there. More

Stayed at Premier Inn Newcastle (metro centre) for two nights over the weekend as a couple in order to watch a concert at the metro arena and visit the city and the hotel was great. Whilst far enough away from the centre to avoid the hectic night life at 3am, the hotel is situated a 10 minute walk away from... More

Excellent staff they even offered to do my ironing "thank you Louisa" Good location with easy access to shopping and Newcastle. The restaurant attached to the hotel can get a bit frantic with lots of families early on . It has an eat as much as you can style buffet reasonable priced for those on a budget but it won't... More

Stayed for a night to visit the Metro Centre. Was just as I would expect from Premier Inn standard - room clean, loads of hot water for bath etc. Couple of downsides - others had obviously been smoking in bedrooms and smell filtered into corridor and early morning delivery to pub next door woke us up earlier than hoped. Mentioned... More
