This is a very nice hotel to stay in to explore the Highlands etc. It is not a riot of fun but a comfortable place. I was placed in front of the window for breakfast sothat I could enjoy seeing the red squirrels outside enjoying their breakfast! My wife and I travelled to Granton on Spey for a two night stay as I had an appointment with a friend in the locale. In October 2008 we enjoyed a wonderful one-night stay at Culdearn House. The house was both gracious and very comfortable and the dinner served was spectacular. We found a very scenic route to drive from Aberdeen to Granton-on-Spey and the countryside along the way was gorgeous. Granton-on-Spey, with all its stone architecture, was very picturesque.
