Have just returned home after our 7th consecutive year at the Chequers. Once again we were made to feel special by Alistair and Bev. Our room was equipped with everything we needed, and was always spotless. This was my second visit to The Chequers and won't be my last. I cannot praise Chequers highly enough. The breakfasts were excellent, the rooms spacious and clean Bev and Al were friendly and helpful. We can thoroughly recommend Chequers and if you stay there you will not be disappointed.

The hotel is situated in a good position.Dining room pleasant enough but room was very tired.Decor drab and old fashioned.Limited hanging space in wardrobe.Flat screen tv was advertised with free view,but we could not access free view.Breakfast was good and plentyfull.Do not think four diamond is a worthy of this hotel,I would grade a two diamond.

This is our second stayat this hotel,excellent accomodation, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, with all amenaties, met with a friendly and warm welcome from bev & al, excellent food, close to beach and promanade.

Bev & Alistair are brilliant hosts. They really made us welcome, the rooms are clean and comfy, and I felt at ease at once.
