We stopped here for two nights before having to relocate to the aforementioned Stalag that is North Weald. Harlow was clean, in good condition and a pleasure to stay at. The only downsides were a saggy bed and noisy people outside. I would recommend this hotel. More

Short walk from the railway station and bus stops making it an ideal location for those wanting to get to London, Cambridge or stanstead but not pay over the odds for the privilage. Receptionist was polite, friendly and able to advise us on getting into the main part of town via cycle routes. Extra towels & pillows are easily available... More

The bathroom is so dirty with stains and hair. I complained to the receptionist she came to clean it but it looked the same. The bed made noise and it kept moving so couldn't sleep all night. No phone in the room for emergencies you have to call the receptionist from your own mobile. One little soap in the bathroom.... More

For £35 you cannot expect much but I do expect pillows with stuffing and an attempt a sound proofing the room. On the upside it is right next to the railway station, functional and hassle free. Five star downgraded to three because of sleep issues related to pillow and noise. More
