Unusally this is still an old style Travelodge with keys for the doors (can't remember the last time I had a key). Staff excellent and accomodating with requests. Clean rooms, supermarket 60 seconds away located next to motorway services, but not disturbed overnight. more

We stayed one night, £19. The room was clean and a good size, tea & coffee making and a basic TV. The bathroom was large and clean, plenty of hot water, a decent shower. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful, she suggested Jock's Bar for meals, it turned out to be very good, drinks were a bit pricey. There seems... more

Our trust in Travelodge has been renewed by our stay here. We usually use them as an overnight stop to break up a long journey, and this is one of the better situated ones we’ve used, being just off the M90. There’s also a Sainsbury’s within a 2 minute drive, which was handy for our stocking-up ready for our self-catering... more

Basic travelodge, but very clean comfortable room, lovely and warm - it snowed while we were there!. In a motorway services, but a very small quiet one off a sliproad. There is a Garden Centre behing the travelodge with a nice waitress service cafe. Lolvely lunch and excellent breakfast of pancakes, maple syrup and crispy bacon. - Eat there rather... more

Its possible that Travelodge have now realised that they are near the bottom of the pile in the budget hotel market. This is the usual Travelodge full of tired rooms but ...... with signs of improvements on the way. The room had a small plasma tv and a new shower fitted over the bath. The hotel is located next to... more

We booked here to visit the touring car races at Knockhill circuit we prepaid £52 for two nights stay (£26 per night) It gives the impression of being quite an old hotel, and a bit different from the usual travelodge (I've stayed in quite a few!) I suspect it was built as another type of hotel and later converted to... more

Would say a typical Travelodge (which is no bad thing) - but found room very comfortable, very quiet. Stayed one night (Thurs 22nd Sept 2005) as final night of whistle-stop tour around Scotland, before heading home. Only complaint that nothing of note nearby - 24hr Motorway Cafe, but a Co-Op nearby in Kinross (to get more reasonibly priced sandwiches!) And... more

We spent the night at the Kinross Travelodge after a long drive from Derby, and wanted a comfortable night's sleep before braving a weekend of camping at T in the Park. The only room still available at the time we booked was a family room, which turned out to be rather small for a room that's supposed to accommodate a... more
