we went here Friday/Saturday night on a itison offer, 2 night bed and breakfast, a facial for the ladies and a round of golf for the gents. Excellent value for money, the facial was fab the breakfast was plentiful but the golf was a wash out (weather related), we had full use of the leisure facilities which we could not... More

I stayed here for a weekend meeting. It's a wee bit dated and old fashioned but I'm told that it's about to be overhauled. The restaurant food is ok but not the best I've had but the service is friendly and the staff go out of their way to oblige. The bar was welcoming and bar food had a good... More

When I first arrived at this hotel I immediately thought it needed updating. The decor is a bit shabby but my room was very clean. I was slightly disappointed that there was no tea or coffee making facilities, but the the bar has a nice atmosphere and a pool table. I ate in the restaurant, but I was the only... More

Stayed here with my sister aunt and my mum( who was in a wheelchair) the only downside to this hotel was the fact that it was difficult to get the chair up the stairs inside the hotel to get to. The restaurant. The staff however more than made up for that, they were lovely...all of them. the beauty room was... More

My friend and I have just had a fabulous stay in this hotel. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. Some of the staff that we dealt with were: Jane and Heather from reception, Scott from the bar, Brenda and Emma in the Beauty rooms, Emma and others from the restaurant (sorry some names have escaped me!) staff in the leisure... My husband and I spent a night there first time we have been to Kinross for a weekend. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the room we were given (Room 305) was very spacious with a huge bed and had good storage and toiletries in the bathroom. A bit dated though but spotless. Also we tried the... More

My partner and I recently enjoyed a wonderful 2 night break at the windlestrae hotel. We booked 2 nights BB for £124.00. We were greeted by the friendly staff who explained all of the hotels facilities and times for breakfast/dinner ect. Our room was very big, with a 4 piece bathroom, double bed, sofa and plenty of cupboard space. The... More

We booked this through itison.com £89 for 2 people for 2 nights b&b plus massage. Bargain. This hotel is old fashioned, the stairway up to rooms is in need of a paint & also the carpets are shabby. We had a very large room old fashioned brown furniture but it was in good condition, tv in room. The hotel is... More

Sad room, needing updated, public areas better, food good first night, less so second, maybe it depends on the chef on duty. Don't get your hopes up. Whenever I stay in this country, it makes me realise why I holiday abroad. More
