My friend and I had an idyllic holiday in Orkney in May. Finstown very central , sea lapping at wall below window , and the sunrises and sunsets kept us captivated. The twin bedded apartment had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless.

The Atlantis lodges are a fantastic place to base yourself for a holiday in Orkney. They are in the centre of the island so when you are traveling around you never have to far to drive.
The lodges themselves were excellent. We had one of the two bedroom apartments and I have never stayed in such well equipped self catering...

We visit Orkney every year and always stay at Atlantis Lodges. Spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable, well equipped and with a fantastic view over to the island of Shapinsay. Extra little touches too - a carton of Orkney milk in the fridge on arrival plus pack of cookies as well as tea, coffee, sugar etc. Blackout blinds as well as curtains...

We had a three day stay up in the Orkney Islands. These lodges are in Finstown which is between Stromness and Kirkwall overlooking the sea a superb location to visit all of Orkney. The lodges are very well kitted out, have everything you would need they are a bit tight for space in the shower and bedrooms for someone over...

Stayed at the lodges in July for a week. Absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. Stunning sea views from the lounge - were lucky enough to see a seal one night about ten metres away. We were two adults and an 8 year old staying in a one bedroom lodge but it wasn't a problem. Were supplied with a...

I echo all the reviews praising the fabulous sea view with waves lapping right under the window, the immaculate cleanliness, and the high standard of equipment. They really have thought of everything you might need, right down to some milk and teabags waiting for you on arrival. Finstown is very central if you have a car, as it is easy...

Everything in these lodges is done to a really high standard by people who have thought about it. So none of the hassles you so often get in self catering with substandard equipment, lack of cleaning materials, cloths etc.
The view from the apartments is amazing - just watching the tide ebb and flow can easily take up much more...

We spent 5 nights here and found the lodge to be very comfortable. We spend our days out sightseeing and our evenings relaxing at the lodge. We really enjoyed our dinners and breakfasts taken at the table in the window with such a wonderful view. We became fascinated by the tides as when it was fully in it was lapping...

We were planning to spend 4 nights on Orkney but found it difficult to get a family room in a hotel or B&B. We called Atlantis Lodges who were willing to let us have a 4 bed apartment for the number of nights we wanted (rather than a full week). The apartment was very well furnished and had a great...

This was my friends and I first trip to Scotland and we couldn't get much further North than the Orkney Islands!
After nearly 8 hours of traveling from London, we arrived at Kirwall airport and greeted by a very sweet young lady Kerry...
Our first impressions of Orkney was how beautiful it was. Kerry drove through Kirkwal high street...do not...
