Fantastic hotel. Staff were great and really friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely, clean, warm and a very inviting. Evening meal in the conservatory was lovely. Breakfast was tasty. This is a wonderful Scottish experience. First of all, the hotel is a victorian stone style. Two large stone lions greet you at the front step, one marked "stanley" the other "livingstone", I assume to commemorate the famous 19th century meeting of the two explorers.
