The actual building and surroundings were beautiful but the hotel itself is in serious need of updating! The common areas were pleasent enough (lobby, lounge, bar, dinning room) but the room we stayed in (Superior Double) was certaintly far from superior and in need of a good clean. Just back from a two night stay at Lockerbie Manor Hotel and cant fault it at all. Stayed two nights in a 4 poster large room and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Ideal location if you have a dog as the grounds are wooded and suitable for dog walking.
