Do not stay at this hotel under any circumstances. I stayed at this hotel on a business trip in January and was double billed for my stay. Despite several requests to the hotel from both myself and my credit card company I have yet to receive a refund of the additional amount billed incorrectly. The hotel have made several promises... We stayed here for our anniversary. Welcomed by the receptionist, but not shown to our room until halfway down the hall. This was the only bad point. Rooms are lovely, big comfy beds, and a real pleasant toilet. The location is lovely! Picturesque village and a lovely styled hotel. We booked a table for dinner and were made to wait... More

Hotel is very tired, old fashioned and quite poor really. Stayed for 2 days on a conference. Reception is very dingy and old fashioned, conference room had a very 1980s look and feel, a bit tatty really. Food was okay bedrooms are very varied, some are quite nice and modern e.g annex rooms such as 501, others are very dated... More

We got married at The Quorn country hotel on the 7th April 2012 and it was amazing from start to finish. Everything went to plan due to the friendly and brilliant staff at the hotel. As the bride you constantly worry about lots of different things going wrong but after meeting with the wedding co-ordinator Susan and the general manager... More

What a disapointment, we were kept waiting yet we were the only one's there that afternoon when we were shown to our table the conservertory was really cold so we had to close the curtains, the waiter wasn't very forth coming and mummbled instead of speaking clearly. I had told them in advance that we didn't want smoked salmon as... More

We got married at the hotel on 24th March and had the most perfect day. Everything was perfect - the staff were incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. Everything we asked for was put in place without any fuss. The staff on the day were brilliant - from bar staff, waitresses, reception staff, maids... More

Went with a group of friends to celebrate new years eve and it was a total disaster from start to finish. Firstly there was an electricity black out whilst we were getting ready. The main party room was drab with hardly decorations. The hotel advertised a swing band followed by dancing to a disco into the early hours. The swing... More

This hotel is not easy to find but the rooms are well maintained and a good size. On both the occassions we stayed the food was good and the service excellent. The grounds are pleasant and of a reasonable size considering the hotel is right on the main road through the village. The only moan we would have is the... More

Stayed here for business and overall it was decent hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with all the usual amenities. The breakfast was fine, although the scheduling of a cooked breakfast was a trick that had to be learnt. The food in the restaurant was OK but it was overpriced with very small portions. Plenty of good places to... More
