We turned up on spec & were lucky enough to get a room here. The check in process was handled by a very friendy & efficient girl which was a great start. Our room didn't alas have a sea view, but that really wasn't a problem. The room itself was quite modern & well furnished/decorated & of a good size.... more

I have stayed at most of the hotels in Lowestoft over the last year or so , the Victoria is easily the best. Excellent service together with good facilities and the premier location make this hotel difficult to fault. We stayed at the victoria hotel for 2 nights in mid october. We booked a sea view room on 2 night package incl meals and haggled a great price. It was great value I'll tell you the pro's and con's. Decided to stay at the Hotel Victoria after a disasterous stay at another 3 * hotel nearby. Chalk and cheese ! The Victoria really does live up to expectations with the restaurant worthy of recognition on it's own. Try to book a seaview room, but don't worry you will enjoy the food whichever bedroom you book.
